Terms and licences
These terms apply when you buy an IRL Challenges kit from this website or by invoice. If you buy on Etsy, Etsy’s terms also apply.
Who we are
IRL Challenges is the trading name of [your full legal name], a sole trader based at [business address]. You can contact us at hello@irlchallenges.com.
What you’re buying
- Our kits are digital downloads (PDF files). Nothing is posted to you.
- Prices are in pounds sterling. We are not currently registered for VAT, so no VAT is added to our prices.
- Card payments on this website are handled by our checkout provider, which acts as the seller of record and may appear on your receipt. Invoices are payable within 30 days, and we accept purchase orders.
Your right to cancel
- If you’re buying as a consumer, you normally have 14 days to cancel. When you buy a download, we’ll ask you to agree that it can be supplied straight away and to confirm you understand that you lose the right to cancel once the download starts. If you don’t agree, we can’t supply the file until the 14 days have passed.
- If you’re buying for a business, school or other organisation, the consumer cancellation right doesn’t apply.
- If a file is faulty or doesn’t match its description, tell us and we’ll fix it, replace it or refund you. This doesn’t affect your legal rights.
Licences
When you buy a kit, you get a licence to use it. The content stays ours.
Personal and Small Group Edition
- For one group of up to 12 players at a time, at home, with friends or in a small team.
- Print as many copies as that group needs.
- Not for groups over 12, paid events, or use by an organisation across multiple teams. For those, you need a Team Licence.
Team Licence (including Branded and Personalised)
- For use within the organisation named on the licence, for up to the number of players shown on your licence in each session.
- Print as many copies as you need inside your organisation, and run the game as often as you like, in person, hybrid or remote.
- Upgrades: move to a bigger licence by paying only the difference.
For every licence
- Don’t share the file outside the group or organisation it was bought for, or post it online.
- Don’t resell it, or use it to run paid events for other people or organisations.
- Don’t remove the IRL Challenges name or the licence details.
Running the activities safely
Every challenge passes our Safety Code. The person running the activity is responsible for choosing challenges that suit the group, checking the space, and following any venue, workplace or school rules. Our kits for friends and workplaces are designed for adults aged 18 and over.
Our responsibility to you
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law doesn’t allow us to limit. Otherwise, our total liability for any purchase is limited to the price you paid for it. If you’re buying for a business, we aren’t liable for indirect losses, such as lost profit.
Complaints and the law
If something goes wrong, email us and we’ll try to put it right quickly. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
